Bob Michelson Bob Michelson joined RMG Networks, a global digital signage solutions provider to 70 percent of the Fortune 100, as president and chief executive officer in July 2014. Most recently, Bob was awarded EY's Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award in the Technology Category for the Southwest region. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who excel in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Prior to joining RMG, Michelson was president of Share Rocket, an organization that provides social media ratings globally. From 2009 to 2012, he was an operating partner with Sterling Partners, a private equity firm overseeing portfolio organizations in the technology services, business services and education sectors. He has also served as chief executive officer of Goliath Solutions and division president of IXL, in addition to holding a number of sales, marketing and senior roles with technology and services organizations. He began his career with IBM as a systems engineer and marketing representative in 1978. Michelson holds a bachelor of science in marketing and finance from Indiana University and sits on the boards of several education-focused nonprofits.
